Terms of Sale
Version 2026-10-26 — effective 26 October 2026.

Article 2 — Main characteristics of the services
Vocaway is a digital service for practising job interviews out loud with a recruiter simulated by artificial intelligence (synthetic voice), with voice transcription and an educational assessment report. The paid offers are:
- Credit packs: a one-off purchase of a number of credits, with no automatic renewal.
- Monthly subscriptions (no commitment) or annual subscriptions (12-month commitment), when offered: these entitle the holder to a periodic allocation of credits and to the features described at the time of subscription.
- Institution offers: licences for schools and organisations, governed by a specific contract that takes precedence over these Terms of Sale.
Each Simulation consumes 1 credit, whatever its duration, the options chosen (under-pressure recruiter, foreign-language interview) and the documents uploaded; the analysis of these documents (CV, job posting, cover letter) is included. This cost is displayed before it starts. The detailed content of each offer is set out on the Pricing page and in the order summary.
Beta tester programme: subject to available places, Vocaway may offer credits (5 at present) in return for a questionnaire completed after each Simulation paid for with these credits. Until this questionnaire is completed, starting a new Simulation is suspended. These free credits do not expire, are neither refundable nor exchangeable for cash, and each account may join only once. Welcome credits still valid at the time of joining are included in this number.
Article 3 — Prices
Prices are shown in euros, all taxes included. As the Seller benefits from the VAT exemption for small businesses, VAT is not applicable (“TVA non applicable, art. 293 B du CGI”): the price displayed is the total price payable. Any discount codes are applied on the payment page.
The Seller may change its prices at any time. The applicable price is the one displayed at the time of the order. For subscriptions, any price increase is notified by email at least 30 days before the relevant renewal date; the Customer may cancel before that date.
Article 4 — Ordering
- Choice of the credit pack or, when offered, the subscription.
- Review of the order summary (offer, duration, total price).
- Acceptance of the Terms of Sale and, to obtain immediate access, ticking the box by which the Customer requests immediate performance and acknowledges losing their right of withdrawal (see Article 7).
- Payment on Stripe’s secure page.
- Order confirmation by email and immediate provision of the credits or subscription.
The invoice is available in Settings › Billing.
Article 5 — Payment
Payment is made by bank card or by any other method offered on the payment page, through the payment provider Stripe Payments Europe Ltd. Vocaway never has access to card details. For subscriptions, the Customer authorises the automatic charging of the price on each renewal date.
If a payment fails, the Customer is informed and may update their payment method; if the situation is not resolved, the subscription may be suspended and then terminated. Credits already acquired remain usable.
Article 6 — Duration, renewal and cancellation of subscriptions
- Monthly subscription: entered into for one month, automatically renewed each month, can be cancelled at any time.
- Annual subscription: entered into for 12 months, automatically renewed for 12 months. Before each annual renewal, the Customer is informed by email of the option not to renew the contract.
- Online cancellation: the Customer can cancel in a few clicks from Settings › Billing, at no cost and without giving reasons. A cancellation confirmation is sent by email.
- Effective date: cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid for; the Customer keeps access until that date. Credits already acquired remain usable.
- Credit packs: these are not renewed automatically.
Article 7 — Right of withdrawal
Consumers in principle have 14 days from the conclusion of the contract to withdraw, without having to give any reason (Article L. 221-18 of the French Consumer Code).
Exception: in accordance with Article L. 221-28, 13° of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for digital content or a digital service whose performance has begun, before the end of the withdrawal period, with the consumer’s prior express consent and their acknowledgement that they lose their right of withdrawal.
At checkout, the Customer ticks a box by which they request immediate access to the credits or subscription and acknowledge that they thereby lose their right of withdrawal. This consent is confirmed in the order confirmation email. As the service is provided immediately, the right of withdrawal can then no longer be exercised.
If the Customer has not given this express consent, they may withdraw within the 14-day period by sending an unambiguous statement, for example using the form in Article 8, to contact@vocaway.com. The refund is made within 14 days of receipt of the withdrawal, using the same means of payment.
Article 8 — Model withdrawal form
(Complete and return this form only if you wish to withdraw from the contract.)

Article 9 — Statutory guarantees
Consumer Customers benefit from the statutory guarantee of conformity for digital content and services (Articles L. 224-25-12 et seq. of the French Consumer Code): for the entire supply period for subscriptions, and for 2 years from supply for credit packs. In the event of a lack of conformity, the Customer may have the service brought into conformity or, failing that, obtain a price reduction or termination of the contract.
To invoke the guarantee, the Customer contacts customer service at contact@vocaway.com. Credits consumed during a Simulation interrupted for a technical reason attributable to the Service are returned.
The reports produced by the AI are educational tools: Vocaway does not guarantee success in a job interview or recruitment process.
Article 10 — Complaints and consumer mediation
Any complaint may be sent to customer service at contact@vocaway.com.
In accordance with Articles L. 612-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, consumer Customers may use, free of charge, the consumer mediator below, within one year of their written complaint to Vocaway if it has not been satisfactorily resolved:
[Mediator name] — [Postal address] — [website]
Article 11 — Governing law and disputes
These Terms of Sale are governed by French law.
- Consumer Customer: failing an amicable solution or mediation, the dispute is brought before the competent court under the rules of the French Code of Civil Procedure and the French Consumer Code; the Customer retains the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of their country of residence.
- Business Customer: exclusive jurisdiction of the courts with authority over the Seller’s place of business.
